"He reached for the hilt of his sword, eyes fixed as the swirling bark began to coalesce. The illusion shimmered and twisted, transforming before his astonished gaze. The bark dissolved and reformed into a face—serene and calm, eyes closed as if in eternal slumber. The mighty oak’s leaves fluttered in a gentle whisper, and the massive trunk began to shrink. Branches slipped into out-stretched arms. Leaves spread into delicate hands. It magically transformed until it was no longer a tree but a woman standing where the ancient oak had been.

Arms fluidly floated down through a flowing port de bra to her sides. Her form was graceful, clad in a flowing robe of emerald green that rippled like leaves in a breeze.…
