The bark dissolved and reformed into a face—serene and calm, eyes closed as if in eternal slumber. The mighty oak’s leaves fluttered in a gentle whisper, and the massive trunk began to shrink. Branches slipped into out-stretched arms. Leaves spread into delicate hands. It magically transformed until it was no longer a tree but a woman standing where the ancient oak had been.
